Smart Snacking for Super Bowl Sunday

Snack smarter on Super Bowl Sunday! This Sunday is all about football, friends, and food! Use my top 8 tips to keep your Super bowl celebration KLEAN!

  1. Start with veggies! Add veggies to a dip or use them as chips to dip.

  2. Punch it up with protein. Get some proteins on your plate and choose to airfry or bake them.

  3. Be smart with your sauces. Choose sauces or dips with minimal ingredients, low sugar, and the right ingredients.

  4. Keep carbs full of fiber. If you’re going to eat chips, crackers, and/or tortillas, choose options packed with fiber.

  5. Grab a plate! Use a plate rather than hanging around the table mindlessly eating.

  6. Use sweet potatoes. Slice your sweet potatoes thin and use them as the bread for sliders or as your chips in homemade nachos.

  7. Stay hydrated. Be sure to keep your water close and match at least 12oz of water to every 8oz of alcohol or soda.

  8. Seek out your favorites. Choose to indulge in those foods you look forward to, staying aware of what is satisfying and what is not.
